Detox is a scary word. It gets thrown around all over the health and wellness industry. Need to lose weight? Detox! Need to clear yourself of impurities? DETOX! It's kind of annoying, frankly. As the years go by and more information comes out about chemical use in health and beauty products, I have started to take a good, hard look at the products I use. Adult acne. If you have it, you hate it. If you don't have it, you probably don't know how lucky you are. Because it sucks. I can't stress that enough. I'm lucky that I only have a mild case - the acne typically only appears around my chin. According to this face map, that means I get acne due to hormones and my menstrual cycle.
